This is a solo-run project (with some help from friends and family, of course!) ran by an artist by the name of hazure03, or Kito, oline.
Wicked Wieners are a line of hand-crafted dachshund plushies, each one-of-a-kind using scrap and thrifted materials. Each Weiner is completely unique and has their own name and backstory.
It's in it's developing stages at the moment, so stay tuned!
Wicked Wiener HQ is located in rural Texas, and has been the home of various pets throughout the years. Currently, two cats, a chihuahua, and a crested gecko live under one roof! (Along with the people, I suppose...)
I have a history with various different art mediums, including illustration (traditional and digital), 3d modeling, painting, music, and indie web design. I'm also a big fan of electronic music, video games, horror, and childhood nostalgia.
Of course, I've also been sewing various plushies and even a few fursuits since i was young. I know my way around a sewing machine, but I much prefer hand-sewing and embroidery if I'm able.
In 2019, my family was given a dachshund in need of a home after my great-aunt's passing.
After having inherited the dog, named Luther, he quickly became attactched to me (and my elderly chihuahua at the time), and I fell absolutley in love with the breed.
In October of 2024, it was Luther's time to cross the rainbow bridge. After the idea of the Wicked Weiners hit me, I felt it was a great way to spread the joy of dachshunds as was given to me by my own.
